Our instructors are carefully selected and thoroughly trained in the exclusive Arthur Murray teaching method. This assures you the finest instruction in dancing. You will have a regular dance teacher who will be responsible for your progress. Periodically, you will have exchange lesson with other teachers which will give you experience and practice in adapting to a variety of dance partners and dance styles. The following describes our quick and easy method of teaching, known as the 3-Way System.
Private Lessons:
Each private lesson you take is special in several ways. Firstly, you can schedule your lesson for any time that is convenient for you. Secondly, our nationally certified instructors carefully plan each lesson in your custom-designed program and you will receive personalized instruction necessary that will help you achieve you goals in dancing. You’ll have more fun and learn faster and easier on your private lessons than you could ever learn by videos, Internet or public group classes! This is the hallmark of Arthur Murray’s. We value your TIME by making the most of it.
Group Classes:
These fun, energetic classes are designed to work on your footwork, teach you patterns, strengthen your ability, and help you dance on your own balance. Group classes cover every dance imaginable and take place every night of the work week. We are experts in developing dancers, so we’ll always put you in the classes that fit you best – not too easy, not too hard! Unlike purchasing public group classes a la carte, your classes at Arthur Murray’s are part of your custom-designed program. This gives you the opportunity to dance to better your lead or follow and also practice your social dance skills by meeting other students in the studio.
Practice Parties:
Another advantage of learning at Arthur Murray’s is the practice parties which we hold twice a week. Instead of trying your new dancing in public for the first time, test-drive your dancing in the studio. In this session, students of all levels dance together. You’ll practice everything you’ve been learning while your trained instructors are there to help. Unlike many public practice parties, we turn the studio into a public nightclub. Our focus remains on you, your progress, and your FUN! Very soon, you’ll be brimming with confidence and ready to take your dancing out into the real world – whether that means a nightclub, cruise, wedding or even your kitchen!
